Kaitlin Burkly
Executive Director
Kaitlin Burkly is the Executive Director for the Georgia Prevention Project. She has developed and managed prevention programming and grants for GPP since 2016. Kaitlin received her accreditation as a Certified Preventionist by the Prevention Credentialing Consortium of Georgia (PCCG) in 2017. She provides oversight of the Georgia Meth Project, our TAC, CPP, PIPP, DFC, and SET program, as well as all community outreach programs. She is also a national speaker on topics around prevention in schools and peer to peer education.

Rachel Morris
Sources of Strength Program Manager
Rachel serves as the Sources of Strength Program Manager at the Georgia Prevention Project. She is a Certified Preventionist through the Prevention Credentialing Consortium of Georgia (PCCG). In her role, Rachel leads creative projects and community outreach, helping bring Sources of Strength to schools and communities across the state. She also manages the SET Program, the Internship Program, and supports efforts to grow GPP’s prevention work throughout Georgia.

Janel Echols
Sources of Strength Regional Manager
Janel Echols serves as the Sources of Strength Regional Manager for the Georgia Prevention Project. In this role, she leads program implementation and outreach for Sources of Strength throughout DBHDD Region 2, strengthening prevention efforts across schools and communities. Janel also oversees the Partners in Prevention Project in Taliaferro County, coordinating initiatives and supporting day-to-day activities designed to reduce alcohol use and binge drinking among youth ages 9–20.

Hanna Naukkarinen
Sources of Strength Regional Manager
Hanna Naukkarinen serves as the Sources of Strength Regional Manager for the Georgia Prevention Project. In this role, she leads program implementation and outreach for Sources of Strength across DBHDD Region 5, strengthening prevention efforts in schools and communities. Hanna also supports the College Prevention Partnership Program, collaborating with college students to build campus youth coalitions that raise awareness about the risks of prescription drug misuse and implement peer-to-peer prevention initiatives.

Tommy Baker
DFC/PPRA Program Coordinator
Tommy Baker serves as the Program Coordinator for Polk Prevention and Recovery Alliance. In this role, he focuses on substance use prevention efforts in Polk County, working with both teens and young adults to promote healthy choices and support community well-being.

Melissa Vaughan
Program Operations Manager
Melissa Vaughan serves as the Program Operations Manager for the Georgia Prevention Project. She supports GPP staff in planning and implementing the CPP, DFC, and SET programs, providing day-to-day operational guidance and ensuring smooth execution of ongoing initiatives.

Gregory Greer
College Expansion Coordinator
Gregory Greer is the College Expansion Project Coordinator for the College Prevention Partnership (CPP) Program. As our Expansion Coordinator, he is responsible for initiating new partnerships with college campuses across the state. Additionally, he is responsible for raising awareness on different health promotion topics, and educating young adults on the impact of misusing substances such as prescription drugs.

Kyah Harris
Sources of Strength District Prevention Coordinator
Kyah Harris is the Sources of Strength District Prevention Coordinator for the Georgia Prevention Project. Kyah's role includes expanding and supporting Sources of Strength programming in Cobb County middle and high schools. In her role, she oversees the implementation of peer-led prevention strategies and provides technical assistance, and support to participating schools.

Ashley Palmateer is the Sources of Strength District Prevention Coordinator for the Georgia Prevention Project.
