Better Together Bash
Join Georgia Prevention Project on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at Riverstone Church in Kennesaw for a FREE community celebration designed to help students and families start the school year strong!
Enjoy interactive workshops, community resources, giveaways, local vendors, wellness activities, and opportunities to connect with organizations dedicated to supporting youth and families.
Open to students ages 12–18, families, educators, and community members.

Better Together Bash: Creating A School Where Everyone Belongs
Join us for our Back to School Bash! Attendees can expect access to back-to-school supplies such as backpacks and stationery resources, engaging sessions that provide students with the opportunity to tap into strength, a health resource fair for parents and caregivers, lunch and Kona Ice available from 12-2pm, and more!
Yoga in the Park
We're partnering with Kennesaw Parks and Rec to provide a community-wide yoga event. Our Sources of Strength students will be invited to stay after to participate in games and conversation around the wheel. Registration is free for all Cobb County residents. GPP will provide yoga mats to registered sources of strength students. Come dressed in your favorite sources of strength T-shirt!
Free Naloxone (Narcan)Training – Open to the Public!
Join the Polk Prevention & Recovery Alliance for a FREE Naloxone Training and learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and respond safely and effectively. No medical background is required, just a willingness to help.
Family Support & Wellness Fair
Free health screenings (including blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol) for adults and Form 3300 screenings for kids. Information from a wide variety of organizations regarding healthy lifestyle habits, local supports and resources, health care options, and fun ways to get involved in the community. Plus, free snacks and fun activities for kids!

Sources of Strength T4T
Join us for our Sources of Strength T4T Training March 9th-12th. This training is available for anyone interested in becoming a certified trainer for Sources of Strength. To learn more about the certification process, visit sourcesofstrength.org.
